Q: Is it $19 a month for unlimited use?
A: Yes, $19 a month gives you unlimited access to our Fitness facility and all of the equipment, including cardio machines. If you prefer, you can upgrade your membership to Premium status, giving you access to the Activtrax custom workout program, as well as the benefits of unlimited Group Exercise classes.
Q: Is my Hollywood Fitness membership valid all hours?
A: Yes, you have unlimited use 24 hours a day.
Q: What if I decide to cancel? Are there any cancellation fees?
A: You can give a 30 day notice to cancel anytime by coming into Hollywood Fitness and filling out a cancellation form or send in a written notice to cancel by mail. There are no cancellation fees, just your last month’s dues. 30 DAY CANCELLATION FORM
Q: Is your facility staffed overnight?
A: Yes, we are staffed 24 hours a day.
Q: Is the facility crowded?
A: Not usually. The peak times are Mon-Thurs, 5:00pm-7:00pm. January is the busiest month of the year. However, it is rare to have to wait on anything even during the busiest times.
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: Members may bring a guest in one time for free. Drop ins over 18 can purchase a day pass for $15.
Q: Can I pay cash each month or pay in full for a certain amount of time?
A: Most of our memberships are on a month to month draft. This allows us to focus on fitness, not collections, and also gives our members complete control over the length of their memberships. If you want to pay by the month, it has to be on draft (checking / savings account, or credit / debit card). However, we also offer a twelve month prepaid membership, for those who are uncomfortable with having their account drafted.
Q: What is the minimum age to become a member?
A: All members under the age of 18 are required to have parental consent. Under 15 requires attendance with a parent or guardian. This is a requirement of our liability insurance, so we enforce it strictly.
Q: How do your locker rooms work?
A: Lockers are free for you to use while working out. We don’t provide locks, so bring your own lock. When you leave the gym, take all personal belongings with you, including the lock. We have more members than lockers, so we can’t let anyone keep a locker. We have showers available and you may rent a bath towel if you need one.
Q: Do you offer exercise classes?
A: We offer Group Exercise classes . Group Exercise classes are free for all Premium members, with the exception of Group Personal Training.
Q: If I cancel and then decide to rejoin, do I have to pay another joining fee?
A: Yes, you would have to pay another joining fee. Management may make exceptions for those who cancel for health issues or military deployment.
